Ubisoft Details Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Season Pass and Post Launch DLC
Two new story arcs and an entirely remastered game from the series' past await players in the coming months. 09.15.18 - 9:07 PM Ubisoft has released a new trailer detailing Assassin's Creed Odyssey's post-launch DLC and its Season Pass, showcasing a breadth of content impressive in scope and size. Check it out below! As detailed in the trailer, all players after the launch of Assassin's Creed Odyssey will have access to a collection of quests called The Lost Tales of Greece, confirmed to cameo characters from the main campaign and the franchise itself, exploring new plots and beats within Greece itself. Odyssey will also gain weekly events that set players against hyper-powerful enemies, either in the naval arena of ships or the front of the military in person to person battle. Successful completion of these tasks will reward them with unique currency to spend on within the game on high-level armor and arms. Assassin's Creed Odyssey will also sport a Season Pass, giving players who purchase it two post-story campaign arcs, a fully remastered version of Assassin's Creed and a remastered edition of Assassin's Creed: Liberation, for the PlayStation Vita. The first story arc, titled 'Legacy of the First Blade', will focus on the history of the hidden blade, and those who created it, and will release in December this year. The second arc, The 'Fate of Atlantis' will focus on the fall of Atlantis, underwater city of legend, delving into a more mythological landscape and the mysteries of the First Civilisation, releasing in Spring 2019. As it stands, Assassin's Creed Odyssey is set to have a breadth and depth of content that'll keep players returning to the isles of Greece, and, personally, I can't wait to explore what a realized Greek countryside has to offer. Assassin's Creed Odyssey will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 5th. Stay tuned to RPGFan for all news Assassin's Creed Odyssey!
