What path will you choose in this exciting new adventure?

Earlier this week at PAX West, developers Obsidian Entertainment and Versus Evil announced that the next big expansion for their hit game Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, titled "Seeker, Slayer, Survivor," will be releasing later this month on September 25th!
"Seeker, Slayer, Survivor" will focus heavily on combat, thrusting players against adversaries ranging from hellbent wizards to nigh-immortal spiders, promising to push players to their limits! While also a catchy name, the new expansion will have players choosing to follow one of three specific paths. Those who choose the path of the Seeker will have to find inventive and unique ways to take down enemies, while those who take the path of the Survivor will have to weather against numerous waves of foes. For those looking to face off against some of the strongest and deadliest foes Deadfire has to offer, the path of the Slayer promises to push you to your limits.
When asked about the newest expansion, Brandon Adler, DLC Game Director for Obsidian, had this to say:
"Delving into a rich story, exploring fascinating new environments, and unearthing powerful items are still crucial, but players will experience combat trials like they have never seen before as combatants in the Crucible."
