Valkyria Chronicles fans and Nintendo Switch owners will be delighted to hear that Sega has confirmed that in addition to the upcoming release of Valkyria Chronicles 4 on September 25th, the series' debut entry will be landing on Nintendo Switch on October 16th in North America and Europe!
The original Valkyria Chronicles is currently only planned for a digital release and will retail on the eShop for $19.99 (USD). Players who purchase a digital copy of Valkyria Chronicles 4 on their Nintendo Switch will be eligible for a 25% discount, though this deal won't work with physical release copies of the game.
Sega has not yet confirmed if this version of the game will be the upgraded Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, released on PlayStation 4 in 2016, or if this will more closely represent the title's original release.
