Supporters of the Kickstarter campaign get to play it in September! 08.30.18 - 10:01 PM Fans of the crowdfunded RPG Edge of Eternity will be able to play the game later this year! The development team of nine people are entering the game into Steam Early Access on November 29th. Kickstarter backers will receive even earlier access on a private beta server in September. Midgar Studio released an Early Access Trailer at Gamescom that you can watch below: Jeremy Zeler, the head of Midgar Studio, explained the reason for going Steam Early Access by saying: "Edge of Eternity is a labor of love designed as a tribute to JRPG classics. But building this ambitious JRPG has been a long journey. We still have a lot we want to deliver to make Edge of Eternity everything we want it to be. That's why we decided to move forward with an Early Access launch." The PC release also includes modding tools for anyone who wants to tinker with the game. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Edge of Eternity is a JRPG-inspired adventure that includes music from famed music composer, Yasunori Mitsuda. Along with PC, the game is also set to release sometime on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac, and Linux.
