Roguelike "Dead Cells" Launches Worldwide on August 7th
This title looks to be something special. 08.05.18 - 11:03 PM Developer Motion Twin has announced that their upcoming roguelike Dead Cells is launching worldwide on August 7th for PC (Mac & Linux included), PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Check out the launch trailer below! Dead Cells puts the player in the position of a recurring and ever-reviving protagonist, set to face hordes of enemies through a sprawling randomized castle, in the effort of mastering new weapons, gaining new upgrades and learning how to progress further and further. The title is set to utilize the exploration common in Metroid and Castlevania, fused with the one life per run intrinsic to the roguelike genre, linked to games such as Rogue Legacy and The Binding of Isaac. Personally, this game looks to scratch my ever-growing roguelike itch (Enter the Gungeon, I'm lookin' at you!), and with only a few nights to wait until release, Dead Cells seems to be something for players to keep an eye on! Stay tuned to RPGFan for all news Dead Cells!
