90 years of copyright protection and still going strong.

Disney is one of the largest media brands (and corporations) in the world, made possible by the longevity of its long-lived mascot, Mickey Mouse. Disney is, after all, the House of Mouse, and the main mouse in question turns 90 years old this year.
To celebrate the occasion, Disney held a "Celebrating 90 Years of Mickey Mouse with D23: The Official Disney Fan Club" panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, and with Mickey making his presence known early next year in the latest installment of the Kingdom Hearts series, publisher/developer Square Enix decided to join in on the festivities by airing a 'Celebrating 90 Years of Mickey Mouse' trailer during the panel. The ancient and powerful Mickey will be in Kingdom Hearts III due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29 2019.
