A long-awaited return for a legacy RPG franchise.

inXile Entertainment has announced that The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep, the fourth iteration in the seminal RPG franchise, is set to release worldwide on Windows PC on September 18th, 2018.
The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep is promised to be a return to the roots of the franchise, bringing players back to Caith in fully realized environments, character models, and assets built within the Unreal 4 engine.
With a story penned by Nathan Long, of Wasteland 2 credits, and music composed by Ged Grimes of Simple Mind, players will be able to recruit and adventure with six characters, adventuring through dungeons, puzzles and combat encounters from a first-person camera perspective.
The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows End has also been confirmed for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac and Linux systems later this year. Stay tuned to RPGFan for all news The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows End!
