Hand of Fate 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch
Cards galore dealt again with a Switch in store! 07.12.18 - 5:14 PM Developer Defiant Development has announced that the deck-building adventure RPG Hand of Fate 2 will arrive on Nintendo Switch later this month. Continuing in the tradition of the first game, Hand of Fate, this sequel sets the player against an antagonist known as the Dealer in a card game that simulates iconic elements of tabletop roleplaying fused with action-heavy combat scenarios. Players will control one of a few companions, and usher them through a standalone story known as a Challenge. This is resolved by navigating dungeon floors made up of a random selection of cards, dealt by the Dealer, until the companion either falls or succeeds in heroism. The port to Nintendo Switch will come with the base game released last year, as well as all of the DLC updates that have come since, with more promised to come in the future. Personally, as a huge fan of tabletop games and of the first game, you could do worse than giving this sequel a shot. Hand of Fate 2 is set to release on Nintendo Switch worldwide on July 17th, 2018. It is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, for $29.99 USD/24.99 Euro/$29.99 AUD. Stay tuned to RPGFan for all news Hand of Fate!
