Riding off the success of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CD Projekt Red President and CEO Adam Kicinski confirmed that the Witcher series will continue to have new games for the foreseeable future.
While a future Witcher game is likely not in development at this time, Kicinski did say that a future title would not be titled "The Witcher 4". Since the first three games were a trilogy, he mentioned that the title would have to be something different.
With the studio's current focus on the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, the development team has decided to give the franchise a break in the meantime.
