Spike Chunsoft Reveals New Visual Adventure 'AI: The Somnium Files' At Anime Expo 2018

During Anime Expo 2018, Spike Chunsoft revealed a new title, slated for worldwide release, known as AI: The Somnium Files. Written by Kotaro Uchikoshi, known for his work on the highly acclaimed Zero Escape series, AI: The Somnium Files promises to be filled with the twisty turns of plot that Uchikoshi is known for in the business. Check out a teaser trailer below!

Details on the new title are scarce, with Yusuke Kozaki, of Fire Emblem Awakening and No More Heroes fame, acting as lead character designer for the project. We also know that the setting will be a technologically advanced Tokyo, and that the main character is a detective, known as Kaname Date.

As it stands, personally, I thought both that logo and teaser trailer looked both ominous and foretelling of some intriguing stuff to be found in this upcoming title. Here's hoping it lives up to the shadow that Zero Escape casts!
