E3 2018: Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition Details, Screenshots
Great, now we have two Definitive Editions to keep track of this week.
06.13.18 - 3:11 PM

So, Bandai Namco is bringing us two "Definitive Edition" titles this summer and fall. The closest one is the console release of last year's acclaimed PC RPG, Divinity: Original Sin 2. Similar to the Enhanced Edition of the first game, Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition brings the game to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It's still the same game with drop in and drop out multiplayer, both online and offline (with splitscreen support), 6 origin characters to start with, and more.

New to this edition is a new "Story Mode" difficulty, which eases up on some of the challenge of combat for those who want to experience the story but may be intimidated by the battles. The in-game journal has been entirely re-written, and developers Larian Studios has implemented thousands of changes since the game's original launch, based on player and critic feedback.

Oh right, you're here for screenshots, aren't you? Check out our gallery for the full lineup, such as these choice shots:

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition is still coming to PC via Steam and GOG as well, as Bandai Namco is only handling publishing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. All of these platforms will see the game on August 31st, so look forward to more on the game from E3 and leading up to its release!
