The upcoming release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana for Nintendo Switch will feature an exciting throwback sure to excite longtime fans of the series. Players who purchase the game for Nintendo's hybrid console will receive Adol Christin's silver armor, harkening back to his appearance in Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished!

The Nintendo Switch release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana marks the first entry in the series released on a Nintendo platform since Legacy of Ys: Books I & II (DS) in 2009, and will deliver its own brand of action RPG to players anytime, anywhere.

Standard and limited editions of the game will be available when Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana launches for Nintendo Switch on June 26th, 2018 in North America, and on June 28th and 29th in Japan and Europe respectively. The game also finally launched on PC this week to mixed reviews.
