With the upcoming launch of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life just around the corner, Sega of America has released a series of live-action short films showcasing a few residents of Kamurocho reminiscing about their own encounters with the Dragon of Dojima himself, Kazuma Kiryu.

All three short films were filmed on location in Tokyo, offering a high level of authenticity reminiscent of the true-to-life setting of the Yakuza series. "The Bouncer" and "Prodigal Son" follow substories from Yakuza Kiwami, while "Another Haruka" is based on a plot from Yakuza 5, all detailing the legacy of Kiryu-san.

The final entry in his saga, the upcoming release will offer players one final look at Kazuma Kiryu. Forced to face struggles unlike any he has dealt with before, Kiryu will learn what it means to sacrifice for loved ones, and what it truly means to be family. Powered by the brand new Dragon Engine, Yakuza 6 brings to life the fictional district of Kamurocho, and the real-life town of Onomichi in the Hiroshima Prefecture, in the most impressive entry in the series to date.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life releases on April 17th, 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4. Be sure to check out Rob Steinman's review of the game!
