Sega has announced that they will be releasing a Valkyria Chronicles 4 demo for the PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 26th through the PlayStation Store. This information came about during a hands-on event for Valkyria Chronicles 4 in Japan.
The demo will showcase the introduction stages of the game as well as an exclusive mission. Most importantly, the demo's save data will be transferable to the main game.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 will release on PlayStation 4 on March 21st on Switch this summer in Japan, while in the Americas and Europe it will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch at some point in 2018.
