NIS America has confirmed that the celestially inclined JRPG The Lost Child will be coming to both North America and Europe during Summer 2018.

Developed by Kadokawa Games, The Lost Child will set players hot on the tail of a mystery set in downtown Tokyo, inhabiting the role of protagonist Hayato Ibuki; an occult journalist investigating a string of unusual suicides committed in the capital city.

Hayato, upon his investigations, will cross path with a mysterious girl, gifting him a device that will allow him to capture the essences of mythological and arcane creatures, a la Pokémon or Digimon. Players, using this device, will be able to capture over 100 creatures, known as Astrals, and utilize their numerous skills to descend into dungeons known as the Layers in the pursuit of changing the world.
