It sure is nice hearing Utada Hikaru again.

It's D23 Expo time, and once again, that means a Kingdom Hearts III presentation, but this one was more generous than most, re-confirming a 2018 release date, a Monsters Inc. world, and a revealing new gameplay video. There's a lot to see here, with a cool cameo by Ariel, more Toy Story, Monsters Inc., and some wonderful new-to-us music:
Of course, as exciting as that is, it's our first glimpse of the new Utada Hikaru song, Don't Think Twice, that is extra special to hear. Square Enix released both English and Japanese versions of the song/video, both of which are below:
Finally, Square Enix stated that Kingdom Hearts III's release date will be revealed this June at E3. Hopefully that means the game will have a significant presence at the show, so we look forward to bringing you more news then!
