Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition Now Available for Pre-Order

Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition is now up for pre-order on Steam, Windows 10 and Origin. PC gamers are also provided an app to optimize their platforms ahead of the launch date.

All three of the websites will have different pre-order bonuses. Steam offers the "Final Fantasy XV Fashion Collection", a set of t-shirts for Noctis to wear to improve various stats. They include the strength enhancing Episode Gladiolus tee, accelerated HP recovering Episode Prompto tee, the critical rate enhancing Episode Ignis tee and the HP increasing Episode Comrades tee.

Origin will bundle pre-orders with the "FFXV Decal Selection", a collection of decals to decorate the Regalia with. They include Gladiolus, Prompto, Ignis and the men and women of the Kingsglaive movie.

The Microsoft store will include the "FFXV Powerup Pack", a collection of weapons and items to help players on their journey. These include "Dodanuki", a sword crated by a bladesmith that lowers enemy defense with each strike as well as 10 Phoenix Downs and 10 Elixirs.

New gameplay features for the Windows Edition include the ability to explore the waterway between Cape Caem and Altissia using the Royal Vessel boat, a new quest to obtain and strengthen the Regalia Type-D, and a new accessory that allows players to activate powerful attacks while the Armiger is summoned. Collecting all royal arms will cause an accessory to appear in an unknown part of the world. Additionally, a first person mode and archive mode for the "Cosmogony" stories will be available.

Most of the DLC from the current season pass will be included in this edition, including Episodes Prompto, Gladiolus and Ignis, the multiplayer expansion Comrades and over a dozen weapons, Regalia skins, and item sets.
