New Details Released for Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night
Wake up, get up, boogie down there! 01.31.18 - 6:01 PM Details published in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu have shined a spotlight on the pair of upcoming Persona dancing titles, Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night. In addition to providing illuminating information about "Commu Mode", a feature in both games which will allow players to engage in conversations with other characters, we were also presented with new story details. In Persona 5: Dancing Star Night, the story follows the Persona 5 protagonists after they awaken in a room called "Club Velvet". The Twin Wardens, Justine and Caroline, announce an upcoming dance party, forcing the protagonists to partake in the challenge as a request for the Phantom Thieves. Players will be able to experience conversation mini-events with other characters through the aforementioned "Commu Mode", and by clearing specific requirements you may unlock other in-game elements. Other unlockables, such as costumes, will also be available in the game. In Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night, upon starting, players will find the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad assembled in Club Velvet where Elizabeth is throwing a dance party, forcing the characters to take part in the shaking soiree. Famitsu's coverage also included some lively screenshots of playable characters like Akihiko Sanada, Mitsuru Kirijo, Morgana, and Yusuke Kitagawa busting a move. Both Persona 5: Dancing Star Night and Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night will release in Japan on May 24th for PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita with Western releases hopefully planned for the future.
