Dark Souls: Remastered Coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Yes, Switch
Get your Souls fix on the go, or in 4K this May. 01.11.18 - 11:04 AM Thanks to a surprise Nintendo Direct Mini this morning, we have a bunch of news... so let's start with the darkest. Dark Souls: Remastered was shown in Nintendo's presentation, as Bandai Namco is bringing the title to Switch, but this enhanced release is also coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at the same time. Generally-speaking, this release ups Dark Souls' visual fidelity, includes the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, increases multiplayer parties to six players (each platform will have dedicated servers), and of course, on Switch, makes the game portable. For the technical-minded, Bandai Namco revealed resolution and frame rate details per platform too: PlayStation 4: 1080p, 60 FPS The Switch specs are in line with expectation, so while the PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC will offer the most detailed visuals, the Switch version sounds solid enough, and can go places the others can't. Pick your poison! Dark Souls: Remastered releases on all four platforms May 25th, 2018.
