The 2017 Video Game Awards was a stellar event announcements this year, with one of the delightful surprises being the reveal of In The Valley of the Gods.

Developed by Campo Santo, In The Valley of the Gods is a spiritual successor to the studio's 2016 breakout hit Firewatch, a game a great many people absolutely loved. In The Valley of the Gods is a first-person adventure game that follows the story of two female explorers documenting their trip through Egyptian tombs in the 1920's. The game is expected to release in 2019 on PC, Mac, and potentially other stuff. When we know more, so will you!
