In a surprising bit of near-release-day news, the official Japanese Twitter for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 revealed last night that KOS-MOS Re: will make an appearance in the game as a Rare Blade. The tweet also mentions that, at least in the Japanese release, she is voiced by Mariko Suzuki, who provided KOS-MOS' voice in all three Xenosaga games (among her many voice credits). Furthermore, for KOS-MOS' appearance in XB2, Kunihiko Tanaka was responsible for her design. Along with being the character designer on Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade Chronicles X, he also designed Finch, another Blade in XB2.
