Catching up on games is going to get a lot harder.

After announcing Valkyria Chronicles 4, Sega has quickly followed up with new details, including the new "Grenadier" class. Grenadiers will be able to attack enemies from a long range and shoot to a high altitude. They can also attack without seeing their opponent if other soldiers alert them of the enemy's location. However, they cannot attack foes directly in front of them.
Squad 7 from the original Valkyria Chronicles will be returning via a story DLC package. The DLC will have players take control of Welkin, Alicia, Rosie, Largo and Isara. After completing it, the characters will be playable in the main game. In addition, the game's first print will include the mission DLC "Advance Special Operations"; completing it will unlock Edy from Valkyria Chronicles.
Valkyria Chonicles 4 is due in Japan on March 21st, 2018 for PlayStation 4. The Switch version will be released in Japan in Summer 2018. North America and Europe are scheduled to receive the title in Summer 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more updates on Valkyria Chronicles 4.
