The good people at Bandai Namco have announced that Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will launch on February 23rd, 2018. The game will release on PC via Steam, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The latest installment to the Sword Art Online series, Fatal Bullet is the first to introduce third person shooting to the action-RPG combat formula from previous games. Fatal Bullet also features a new story supervised by Sword Art Online creator Reki Kawahara. Players will create their own avatar and become a hero in an adventure where choices will determine the story. Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet also includes full multiplayer cooperative and competitive modes, allowing two to eight players to work together and compete against online adversaries, and all running on Unreal Engine 4.
