Time to tip the scales!

With only one day left until the release of Fire Emblem Warriors, fans are more excited than ever. In order to stoke these flames, Nintendo has released a new trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors, giving us another glimpse of the action that awaits us!
As a fan of both the Fire Emblem series and numerous Musou games, I for one can't wait to see all that Fire Emblem Warriors has in store!
In addition to the launch trailer, Koei Tecmo also updated the Japanese website for Fire Emblem Warriors, detailing the upcoming DLC packs. While the North American and European release dates for these DLC packs are rough estimates, Japanese players will receive the following,
- Fire Emblem Fates Add-On Pack - December 31st
- Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon Add-On Pack - February 28th
- Fire Emblem Awakening Add-On Pack - March 31st
Each DLC pack will include three new characters and three new history maps, along with additional costumes, weapons, and bond conversations. Players can purchase each pack for $8.99 USD each, or purchase the season pass at launch for $19.99 USD. As an extra incentive, players who purchase the season pass will gain a special bridal costume for Lucina!
Fire Emblem Warriors is set to release on October 20th for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS. Stay tuned to RPGFan for our upcoming review and more information on the Fire Emblem series.
Update: Thanks to an early eShop listing, we now know the details of each DLC pack. Each pack will include three playable characters (for a total of nine), as well as three History Maps. The DLC pack for Fire Emblem Fates adds Azura, Niles, and Oboro; Shadow Dragon's adds Navarre, Minerva, and Linde; lastly, Awakening's adds Owain, Tharja, and Olivia. Each pack will also come with a smattering of new weapons and costumes.
