Disgaea 5 Complete Sells 100,000 Copies Worldwide
Pretty awesome, dood! 08.11.17 - 9:33 PM According to Nippon Ichi Software's latest financial report, Disgaea 5 Complete, the Switch port of Disgaea 5 has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide, which is quite surprising considering it's first-week sales in Japan. According to the sales tracker Media Create, Disgaea 5 Complete didn't make it into the top 20 sales for it's first week, selling less than 5,481 copies in Japan. These numbers are interesting when compared to the pre-order numbers, however. According to NIS America president Takuro Yamashita, Disgaea 5 Complete has 78,000 pre-orders placed in North America, with another 36,000 pre-orders placed in Europe, which equals out to 114,000 pre-orders total. Seeing as how the total amount of copies sold is roughly 100,000 copies, it makes one wonder what happened to those other 14,000 copies that were pre-ordered. Disgaea 5 Complete is currently available for the Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more news and info on the Disgaea series.
