Dance like everybody is watching!
08.04.17 - 11:27 PM

I'm not going to lie, I love the Persona spin-off games, and even though Dancing All Night was cringe-worthy and a lackluster game I am still looking forward to the two new ones coming out. So if you were dancing when Atlus announced their new Persona games this week, maybe you'll continue to dance for the rest of the news this week. We have news stories from Peter Triezenberg, Trent Argirov, and... me, with a review from Rob Rogan.

It seems every game company wants in on that Persona formula nowadays, and Falcom is no different. However, often those that try to copy the Persona formula fall flat. So how does Tokyo Xanadu stand amongst these games? Is it a perfect mesh of that Persona relationship gameplay with those amazing Falcom battle systems? Read Rob Rogan's review to find out.

I think everyone saw that a new Dancing All Night was eventually going to be coming, but I don't think anyone saw two games being announced at once. But sure enough, you will soon be able to dance under the stars or the moon to tracks from Persona 3 and Persona 5. Now, no matter if you love the music from Persona 3, 4, or 5 you will have a choice of games to boogie down to, so make sure you shake that booty!

It's no secret that a good portion of our staff — myself included — loves Final Fantasy XIV, but let it be known that my heart has and always will belong to the world of Tyria. Guild Wars 2 is a fantastic MMORPG with some fabulous additions over the years, and now it will only get better with Path of Fire right around the corner. I can not wait to explore the Crystal Desert and discover more of this amazing game.

The exciting conclusion to the Trails of Cold Steel games is right around the corner, and as the Japanese release date closes in, more and more information keeps coming out about it. So many characters from all the Trails games will finally reunite in what is shaping up to be another fantastic game in the series. Now we just need to be patient for that Western release.

If you've been waiting to scratch that dungeon crawling itch, you won't have to wait much longer since Etrian Odyssey V is on its way this fall, and with an excellent new launch edition option as well. As with most things from Atlus, if you want this edition you better pre-order quickly before it sells out.
