After suffering a devastating attack from Lord Ghaul, the leader of the imposing Red Legion, Guardians must venture out into space to discover a slew of new weaponry and combat abilities. In order to oppose the Red Legion, players must reunite humanities greatest heroes and take back their home. From the destroyed remains of Europe to the moons of Saturn and Jupiter, Destiny 2 is sure to offer an expansive and engrossing adventure.

Familiar gameplay elements such as Public Events, Strikes, and Raids will be returning, along with new gameplay modes in The Crucible, such as Countdown, a new PVP mode where players are tasked with delivering and detonating a bomb at a specified area, while fighting off the opposing team. A Clan system is also being built into the game, allowing Guardians to unite together, similar to guilds found in other popular MMOs.
