Red Thread Games announced that Dreamfall Chapters, the conclusion to the popular adventure trilogy starting with The Longest Journey, will be coming physically and digitally to PS4 and Xbox One on March 24th, 2017 via publisher Deep Silver.
Dreamfall Chapters originally released in five separate chapters for the PC, which concluded this year. The upcoming console version, which comes with all five chapters, isn't an exact port — it comes with some enhancements: reworked character models, improved animation, lighting, and special effects. On top of that, there's an expanded in-game soundtrack and improved sound effects. Check out the announcement trailer below to see some of those improvements!
Dreamfall Chapters is set in two parallels world: "one a dark cyberpunk vision of our future, the other a magical fantasy realm." You control three unique characters, solving puzzles and mysteries, and making choices that bear consequences on the story.
The game is reasonably priced at $29.99/€29.99/£24.99. If you have any interest in an adventure games rife with involving mysteries and complex worlds, consider picking this up next March!
