The sign-up period has begun for Star Ocean Anamnesis' closed beta in Japan on Android devices. The beta will operate on a first-come-first-serve basis for anyone who signs up through November 28th at 15:00 JST.
The game follows a generic starship captain who must explore new planets after being stranded in an uncharted sector of the galaxy. He will be aided by a mysterious young woman who can summon heroes of past Star Ocean games.
Star Ocean Anamnesis comes out on mobile devices later this year.
