Final Fantasy XV To Receive Day One Patch; Soundtrack Samples and Tabata Message Posted
Details on the crown. 11.22.16 - 3:27 AM Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy XV is receiving a day one patch when it releases on the 29th. After the game went gold, the development team constantly stressed that they were planning on adding new features afterwards. The post-development content is going to be released at launch as a 7.24 GB download on PS4. Fittingly titled 'Crown Update', the patch will include camera improvements for narrow areas, 'Wait Mode', a monster whistle, new scenes from the Kingsglaive film and 'Omen' trailer, extra recipes and fish species, an item gallery and social media functionality enabling players to share in-game photos. The official soundtrack now has some samples posted as short movie clips corresponding to each track. For more on the soundtrack, check out my article on its website launch. Final Fantasy XV's director Hajime Tabata released this message to the public regarding early gameplay videos. We are doing everything we can to prevent the circulation of spoiler videos. For those of you who received the game earlier, please keep those who have waited a long time for the game into consideration. In order to meet the best possible release date with everybody, we ask for your cooperation. Final Fantasy XV is due November 29th worldwide.
