At RPGFan, our policy is that we must finish every game we review — it's not often that a game takes a drastic late turn for the worse or better, but it happens. With that policy, when we get a game really close to release (or on release day), we can't get a review to you until a few weeks later. It's a shame, but it means you get an honest assessment of the full game.
