Dragon Quest 30th Anniversary Special to Air on Japanese Network NHK
Celebrating three decades of hunting slime. 11.06.16 - 5:28 PM The Japanese television network NHK is scheduled to air a Dragon Quest 30th anniversary special on December 29th at 22:00 JST. The broadcast will consist of episodes featuring series director Yujii Horii and composer Koichi Sugiyama. Actor and singer Takayuki Yamada will be narrating the special and interviewing Horii. At the special's official page, viewers will be able to submit questions for Horii to be asked during the interview. It goes without saying that you'll need to send the questions in Japanese. New info on the upcoming Dragon Quest XI will be shown in the broadcast as well, along with an exclusive tour of the development studio. Dragon Quest fans will certainly have a lot to look forward to in the next several months. While Dragon Quest XI is yet to receive a release date, it's likely to be released before May 27th, 2017, the last day of the 30th anniversary. As always, keep checking RPGFan for more updates.
