Details have been scarce for the RPG, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, since it was announced last year, but Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has finally brought something to light in an interview with Vandal.net: it will contain a kingdom creation system, where you can improve your kingdom.

Level-5's first game, Dark Cloud had a similar mechanic, before games like Minecraft popularized the system. This seems like a step in the right direction — it adds an extra layer to the gameplay for those who wanted more complexity in the first entry, and it entices the millions of players who love constructing their game world.

When asked if Level-5 has plans for Nintendo Switch, Hino replied, "We plan to make games for Nintendo Switch, but I think it's very important to find out the best way to get the most out of the console. For that reason, we won't have any titles at launch, but we'll work with it as soon as we figure out how to take advantage of it." With the success of many of their games on the 3DS, furthering their presence on Nintendo consoles seems like a good idea.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is set to be on PS4. The release date is unknown, but we'll keep you updated!
