Oh, the difficulties of being a video game reviewer. Sometimes, you get free games, but they don't come until the day the game comes out! We'd love to provide release day reviews for even those games, but being a volunteer site, we sometimes can't pull it off.

Such is the case with Paper Mario: Color Splash, which I've been playing a lot of this week. I'll have a full review as soon as possible, but I know the main question is "how does this game play compared to its predecessors?" So I put down the controller long enough to write up what I've seen of the game through the first two major story beats.
