Nintendo's UK website may have accidentally revealed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's release date. In the 'Discover More Amiibo' section of the website, the Link (Rider) Amiibo has a release date of March 4, 2017 displayed underneath it. While the March 4 has since been replaced with 2017, it could suggest that Breath of the Wild is coming near that date. See the screenshot below.

It is important to note that no Amiibo has ever been released before it's supported game and it is unlikely that will change anytime soon. In addition, March 4th is on a Saturday, while most games are released on Fridays. However, Nintendo has confirmed that the NX will launch in March 2017 and Breath of the Wild is planned as a launch window title for the console alongside the Wii U version, providing more credibility to the date and ruling out the possibility of a January or February release.

Nintendo has not provided any comment on this situation and this date is not official unless Nintendo confirms or denies it. We will be sure to update you all when we hear more. In the meantime check out Jesse's preview to read about hands-on impressions with the game.
