Akiba's Beat Delayed in Japan, New English Character Trailer Released
Virtual Akihabara coming soon. 09.07.16 - 8:08 PM Earlier this week, Acquire Corp. announced that their upcoming Akiba's Beat has been delayed in Japan, being pushed back from a fall to a winter release. Akiba's Beat is also scheduled for a western localization this winter via publisher XSEED, it is not yet known if the delay will affect the Western release schedule as well. XSEED was generous enough to provide English-speaking audiences with the newest trailer for Akiba's Beat. The subbed trailer introduces the protagonist Asahi Tachibana, a NEET (No Experience, Education or Training) who lives a relaxing life in Tokyo's Akihabara district. However, his life is about to become disrupted by a temporal loop that threatens to destroy the natural order of Akihabara. The trailer shows Asahi in battle as well as some dialogue between him and the other characters. See it below.
