Disgaea 2 Coming to Steam in 2017
Three new characters are coming to the West for the first time! 08.26.16 - 1:46 AM NIS America revealed that the critically acclaimed SRPG, Disgaea 2, will be coming to PC via Steam on January 30. This edition will come with all the content of PS2's Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories and PSP's Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days. If you've played through the earlier version's near infinite amount of content, there will be something new here for you too — three characters will be playable in the West for the first time: Dark Eclair, Gig, and Miabel. For those unfamiliar with Disgaea 2, the game takes place in a world where a strong Overlord has turned its inhabitants into demons. The only person who escaped the powers of the spell is Adell. It's up to him, with the help of Zenon's daughter (who appears and joins your party after a humorous mishap), and several others, to defeat Zenon and break the curse. The game offers hundreds of hours of strategic gameplay and over 200 characters for completionists — you get your money's worth! The PC version will also come with an updated UI, to make navigation on the PC more intuitive. It really doesn't look like NIS is going to deliver a sub-par PC port.
