V-Jump has gaven us a closer look at a recent demo for Bandai Namco's Tales of Berseria, and the game has shown up in two other related videos coming out of Japan as well.

The 35 minutes of footage showcase the game's battles, exploration, and just a dash of the game's conversations and scenario moments. One of the cooler new additions that made it's way into the demo is seeing the recently revealed hover board, called the Rare Board, in action. You can check out the footage below:

In addition, Berseria's protagonist Velvet makes a surprise appearance in the opening for the Tales of Zestiria spin-off anime, Tales of Zestiria: The X. Her exact connection to the universe of the previous game is not clear, but toward the end of the video by YouTube user EmiruTheKnight she appears to engage in a fight with Zestiria protagonist Sorey. See for yourself below.

Finally, a brief Japanese commercial shows another fleeting glimpse of Berseria's cutscenes and gameplay.

Tales of Berseria is the sixteenth main entry in the Tales series, and will release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on August 18th in Japan, and on PlayStation 4 and PC in North America and Europe in early 2017.
