Deus Ex: Mankind Divided comes out later this summer and promises an in-depth adventure set in a futuristic version of Prague. Square Enix is promising extensive exploration of the city, and judging by the 17 minute demo video they just released the company aims to deliver. The video shows us just how much the world has changed since the events of Human Revolution; with the advent of augmented apartheid the augmentation clinics that Adam Jensen once relied on are no longer an option. Now he will have go outside the law in order to repair and upgrade his gear from an underground specialist.
Prague is not the only thing new in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided of course. Square Enix is also implementing "Breach Mode," a free "arcade" style gameplay mode where players can compete with one another for high scores under the guise of VR hackers called Rippers. As players progress through Breach Mode they can unlock XP, credits, and booster packs to tackle hacks of mounting difficulty, and Square Enix is promising regular updates.
