Aksys Games have announced that they will be holding a special event this March, in San Francisco, to officially unveil the third and final chapter in the Zero Escape series, Zero Time Dilemma. Series creator, Kotaro Uchikoshi, said that the event will run parallel to the Game Developers Conference but will not be part of the conference proper. For reference, GDC will take place from March 14th to March 18th.
We also get our first look at a new character known as Participant 1. Is it just me or does this guy look a lot like Dio?
The previous game in the series, Virtue's Last Reward, ends on a very big cliffhanger and fans have been clamoring for some resolution and answers. I doubt Zero Time Dilemma will spell everything out for you but it will mark the end of the overarching narrative.
Zero Time Dilemma will release in 2016 for the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS and hopefully, we will have a concrete release date soon. It will be a digital only release in Europe.
