Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna a.k.a. Setsuna of Snow and Sacrifice will soon be out in Japan, but early footage on the PS Vita version reveals a problem for the impatient. The Vita version's load times are significantly longer than those of the PS4 version. The Vita can take up to 13 seconds to load between towns and the map, compared to the the max of three seconds on the PS4. While some loading time is an inevitable fact of playing modern games, issues such as these have sunken other RPGs in the past. It is an unfortunate blow to the struggling Vita. Perhaps a fix is possible, but only time will tell. Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna by Tokyo RPG Factory comes out in Japan on February 18, and later this year in the West.
