After its announcement shocked and amazed all of us by promising to let us live out our childhood dreams of becoming a real life Pokémon Master, the smartphone game, Pokémon Go, has gone silent. There are still tons of unanswered questions about this innovative and game-changing title from Niantic, the folks behind Ingress, a similar "walk around in the real world", augmented reality kind of experience.
Thankfully, CEO of Niantic, John Hanke, has been confirmed to give a talk at this year's Game Developer Conference which takes place from March 14th to March 18th. He will be discussing the ways players will interact with the real world and the Pokémon at the same time. Here is the word from the official website:
