Dragon Quest XI Is a No Show During 30th Anniversary Livestream
A release window was teased however. 01.14.16 - 10:06 PM The Dragon Quest 30th anniversary livestream aired yesterday with a ton of awesome new info on upcoming Dragon Quest games. To the disappointment of many fans however, the highly anticipated next major installment in the series, Dragon Quest XI, was a no show for the event. Series creator Yuji Hori explained that he could not give away any new information on the game, but he did say the studio plans to release the game within the 30th anniversary year. The 30th anniversary year ends on May 27th, so the game should see release in the next 5 months. This could very well be a possibility, as Hori also mentioned that the game's story is almost complete, but it is taking time due to so much content being in the game. Fingers crossed that they make the release window, and that it makes its way west quickly. If you would like to watch the Dragon Quest anniversary livestream for yourself, you can check it out below.
