RPGFan Games of the Year 2015: Category Awards
And here's the moment you've all been waiting for. 01.11.16 - 12:11 PM We admit it: We know one of the most exciting parts of our annual Games of the Year feature are the official, site-wide awards, which is why we wanted to save the best for last. This year is especially noteworthy. In years past, we would ask you to vote on your favorite title of the year, and reveal that result alongside our own. This time, however, we gave all of our readers the same voting form that we used internally, and tallied your votes for every single category. The result? In every single category of the awards, you'll be able to see your own choices alongside our own. In addition to highlighting winners and runner-ups, we noted some interesting facts about many categories, including some extremely close calls in your votes! So take a look at all of the awards - some may surprise you - inside our now-complete Games of the Year 2015 feature, and let us know what you think! We at RPGFan would like to thank all of you reading this not only for your continued support, but also for helping to make this part of our tradition bigger and better than ever. We hope you enjoy how we did things this year! One minor thing of note, in case anyone is curious: While we collected votes from ourselves and you all for "Hybrid RPG," we ended up excising that category in the end. While Persona 4: Dancing All Night was the clear winner, we decided that even though it's a game worth covering here, it's not exactly an RPG in any sense, unlike last year's winners.
