After Square Enix made the port of Star Ocean: Second Evolution available on PlayStation 4 and Vita last October, the company has extended the release to PlayStation 3 consoles in Japan. For ¥2,268 ($19), anyone with a Japanese PlayStation Store account can pick up this classic title (and my second favorite game of all time).
The port features certain enhancements such as a new theme song by J-pop duo Rina Eri, trophy support, improved music and graphics, and paid DLC in the form of items and level-ups. Hopefully the game will get similar treatment in the West.
