A new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final highlights the gameplay and cast of supporting characters that players will encounter. According to the footage, it seems like this will be a true sequel to the original game given the appearance of several main plot characters. The gameplay seems to have no significant difference, but this story is driven by the newly acquired powers of the new protagonist; which gives him the strength to "destroy the gods." Hopefully we will see how that affects the gameplay and the choices you make as you progress.
Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final will be released on the Nintendo 3DS, February 10th, 2016. No word on a Western release, but I'm sure we will have one soon. Be sure to read our review for the first game and check out the gallery for more media.
