Just where will Adol end up this time?

Everyone's favorite red haired adventurer Adol Christin will be back in the 8th installment in the Ys franchise, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. Nihon Falcom announced today that Ys VIII will be released in the summer of 2016 for both the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita.
The 8th game in the franchise will have Adol exploring Siren's Island. The game will include a large number of new features, as well as expanding on features from Ys: Memories of Celceta such as the village defense minigame. As if the action in Ys games wasn't fast enough, Nihon Falcom has promised even faster action with the ability to freely dash and jump with a variety of new attack skills. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is scheduled for release in the summer of 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
