Five Nights at Freddy's World the RPG?
Mystery, rumors, speculation, and conflicting media. 11.04.15 - 12:12 PM If Five Nights at Freddy's is known for one thing, it's amusingly over-exaggerated YouTube videos. "Jump-scares" you say? Yeah, that too. All four versions of the game have scared and puzzled a new generation of gamer for the past few years, but soon that may change… or will it? Five Night's at Freddy's World may be coming to your PC or mobile device soon. With a trailer showing traditional turn-based RPG combat and overworld exploration, the new FNAF World is definitely a far cry from it's predecessors. However, the interesting element is the possibility of having party members comprised of the different versions of the animatronics. Freddy Fazbear, Toy Freddy, Phantom Freddy, Withered Freddy, Nightmare Freddy, Shadow Freddy, Golden Freddy. You name it. It's in there. If you are familiar with FNAF creator Scott Cawthon, you know he thrives off of befuddling his community. He specifically stated that the next game (despite the Halloween update for FNAF 4) would not further the story. Responses to the possible changes have been polarizing to say the least, but, of course, a disturbing wrench has now been thrown into the works. Responses to this image have been chaotic. This model of "Mangle" is featured near the end of the video for FNAF World, and the image was removed from the main site soon after posting. Fans worry that this is a personal message about Scott, others think the negative feedback from the announcement halted production of the game, and some believe this could be an introduction to other plot elements. As usual with this series, time will reveal all, and you better believe that FNAF fans will be ready when the curtain is pulled.
