Japanese PS4s, Vitas to See Star Ocean Second Evolution in October
A port of a port, coming to a port near you.

Square Enix has announced that the port of Star Ocean: Second Evolution (originally called Star Ocean: Second Story on the PlayStation One) will be available on Japanese PlayStation 4s and Vitas via digital release this month. Rather than a straight re-release, the new version will have several enhancements including:

  • New theme song by duo Rina Eri
  • Trophy support
  • Paid gameplay DLC (items, level-ups, etc.)
  • Better quality graphics and background music

Square Enix has also released a teaser to trailer ahead of the October release.
