Upcoming The Witcher 3 Patch Includes Many Fixes and Improvements
Including PlayStation 4 performance!
10.03.15 - 6:45 PM

The last major update released by CD Projekt Red for The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt came out in August, which has left many fans wondering when the next update would drop and what tweaks it would include.

To help assuage the intrigue surrounding the next patch, CD Projekt Red's Community Leader Marcin Momot engaged in the discussion on the game's forum, giving a tease for what is in the upcoming update: "The patch is on the way. Was just looking at the changelog and it looks really impressive – the list of changes is massive. The update will bring a lot of fixes and improvements including PS4 performance (as well as other platforms) plus many more. We ask for a bit more patience."

Momot also mentioned that at some point in October we will see the full changelog of update 1.09. CD Projekt Red has done a remarkable job supporting their game since it's release in the Spring, including a steady stream of free DLC that recently wrapped up. The patch will most likely arrive before the release of the The Witcher 3 expansion Hearts of Stone, which releases on October 13th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
